Services

1.  Student Accommodation:    Accommodation can be arranged on behalf of the student by the college for a non-refundable arrangement fee. Different types of accommodation can be booked according to your preferences and budget:

2.  Airport Pickup: The College can arrange for students arriving at a London airport to be met and transferred directly to their accommodation. It is the student\'s responsibility to ensure all relevant flight details are correct. Any delay in arrival will be subject to an hourly waiting charge. If this service is required students should notify the college by fax or e-mail, not later than one week prior to arrival, of all relevant arrival details such as date and time of arrival and flight number.

Career guidance & CV preparation: The College offers you assistance and        detailed information on: There will undoubtedly be times during your course when you will need help and guidance in one form or another. Support and advice is available on academic matters such as studying methods, techniques, revision etc, career guidance and general professional development.

The college provides assistance to students in their career development and to positively impact upon students\' chances of gaining employment in the increasingly competitive job market.

4.   Other student services:

If you are an international student then moving away from home to a new country can mean getting used to a whole new way of life. That\'s why at TCMIT, we offer welfare support to make the transition a little easier for you. With the right advice and assistance we hope to make your life easier and ensure you have a happy and successful stay in London. Other welfare services offered by the college include:

- Bank accounts: - advice and guidance on opening a bank account.

- Health service: - how to register with a local doctor and receive free NHS (National Health Service) treatment.

- Council tax letter: - College also issues the council tax letters with the help of which students can claim discount on the council tax.

- Reference letter:- College also provides the reference letter to students for their different purposes.

- Information on student handbook: - TCMIT produces a handbook with useful advice on all of the above welfare matters, plus other useful information such as how to get involved with a sports team or find a place to worship.

5. Leisure services:   Activities organised by the college include pub visits, entertainment evenings and parties which encourage students to mix and socialise in English. Various other events provide unique opportunities for students to learn about British culture including trips to museums, cultural events and historical sites. Alternatively students may wish to experience the best of London\'s lively West End entertainment scene with organised visits to cinemas and London musicals.

There is of course much more to the UK than just London. Day trips offer students a chance to visit other cities and places of interest such as Windsor Castle, the university city of Oxford and South Coast towns.

Some activities will require a supplementary charge but the college will try to keep these to a minimum. In addition TCMIT students can get discounts on various sports and recreation facilities around the city.

6.Sports Facilities
The College is not to far from Harrow leisure centre and other sports centres with facilities for gym, swimming, table-tennis, badminton etc. A modern Sports Centre is not more than 3 minutes’ walk from the College.
