Enrolment and Induction
Starting at TCMIT:-
The first week at the College will be spent going through enrolment, induction and orientation. This will help you to get settled into the College and into student life and to make new friends.
Enrolment:-
Enrolment Day is where we look at the originals of your qualifications and your offer letter, sort out your tuition payment arrangements, issue with a Student Identity Card, as well as help you obtain relevant travel cards, a bank account, and medical services and enrol you as a student of the College.
Orientation:-
There will be course inductions and various introduction sessions which explain how our library and computer facilities work, and chances to meet other students and make contacts and friends.
Arriving late:-
The absolute latest date that you can join your course is 28 days after your designated course start date. You should aim to arrive on time because students who arrive late for their course often find it difficult to catch up on the work they have missed. If you are late due to visa delays you may require a ‘Course Extension Letter’ confirming your delay. Please note that this can only be requested within 14 days of your start date. We cannot issue beyond this date.
