This course is designed to provide essential competencies for a microcomputer hardware service technician to demonstrate basic knowledge of installing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting, and repairing microcomputer systems.

- Diagnosing and Troubleshooting 30%
- Preventive Maintenance 5%
- Motherboard/Processors/Memory 15%
- Printers 10%
- Basic Networking 10%
Assessment: PC Based exams conducted by the CompTIA
Intake: January, March, June, and September
Study Mode: Full time & Part time
Duration & hours: 12 weeks, 15 to 21 hours per week
Progression: BCS Certificate/Diploma
Entry Requirements:
3 GCSE’s including English and Maths or IT
-1 A’ level in computing
-Anyone with over 18 years of age
